Great to be joined by Sutton & Cheam MP Paul Scully, Cllr Jeet Bains (Addiscombe East) and Richard Plant from Stiles Harold Williams yesterday at the Croydon Economics Summit. It was a great opportunity for business owners to network.
Croydon needs to become a Borough of Business once again. I will work with residents, businesses and developers to bring a new regeneration scheme to Croydon. I want to take a holistic approach to create more jobs, a better environment and an improved cultural offer. I will convene a Town Centre Recovery Board, to revitalise the Town Centre after Labour lost the proposed Westfield redevelopment. We must prioritise making Croydon a place where people feel safe and welcome, even at night time.
