This week, we had the pleasure of hosting 40 students from Harris Invictus Croydon for a work experience programme at Croydon Council, organised by Carol Squire, Head of Employment, Skills and Economic Development. Young people have such an important role to play in the future of Croydon and they were eager to learn about my executive role and the Council asking insightful questions on housing, regeneration, and collaboration with the new government. Throughout the week, these future leaders worked on projects such as re-envisioning the town centre with a focus on digital technology, sustainability, climate change, and culture. We are excited to see what the future holds for these bright minds!
